A warmth to belittle any material coat,
More than a drink it feeds my soul,

Oh Dorset, how I love your rolling hills,
Your many acre farms and your running water mills,
How id relax my days away just laying in those crops,
Walking through your leafy woodland and trekking your hill tops,
From pheasant to buzzard and from hare to deer,
Its really little wonder these creatures shelter here,
A sanctaury of green, of a castle fallen and pubs still thatched,
Of picturesque and serenity unmatched,
And as those long summer days grow ever near,
How I plan to waste my hours away, where else, but here?
